Purpose

This policy outlines the procedures for the release of student transcripts and diplomas, ensuring equitable access to these documents regardless of outstanding financial obligations.

Policy Statement

Star V Learning Centers is committed to providing students with timely access to their academic records and diplomas. In accordance with State Law, HB22-1049, the school will not withhold a student’s transcript or diploma due to unpaid balances.

Scope

This policy applies to all current and former students of Star V Learning Centers

Procedures

1. Transcript and Diploma Requests: Students may request transcripts and diplomas by emailing Sammatha Harrison at s.harrison@starv.tech if you are a Colorado Springs student or Marcela Mapstone at m.mapstone@starv.tech if you are a Jacksonville student or complete the form on this page.
2. Processing Time: Transcripts and diplomas will be processed and issued within 72 hours of receipt of a completed request.
3. Financial Obligations: Outstanding financial obligations will not prevent the release of transcripts or diplomas.
4. Communication: Students with outstanding balances will be notified of their financial obligation but will not be denied their transcript or diploma.
5. Alternative Payment Arrangements: The school encourages students with financial difficulties to explore payment plans or other alternative arrangements.

Review and Revision

This policy will be reviewed annually and revised as needed to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
