Description

In this program students will learn foundational level skills from three different sectors of the cloud industry. First students will delve into top cloud service providers, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. This program will provide students with the foundational knowledge needed to prepare for the Amazon Web Services Certified Cloud Practitioner Associate exam and the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) exam. Then, students will familiarize themselves with one of the top programming languages, Python. This Python course prepares students for the Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer certification from the Python Institute. This program is designed to prepare students for the AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900, and Intro to Python certification exams.

 

Required Courses

NHPY100 – Intro to Python – 11 Hours- This course serves as a good starting point for students looking to further their training in the Python programming language. In this course, first-time programmers will learn foundational programming techniques and principles using the popular Python Programming language. Python’s simple syntax is similar to the English language, making it easy to comprehend and allows programmers to write code with fewer lines.

NHAWS100 – AWS Fundamentals – 5.5 Hours- The AWS Fundamentals Course is designed to help students get started with AWS regardless of their experience. In this course, students will learn the core concepts they need to work effectively in AWS. Students will learn about the five pillars of AWS, mental models to use when thinking about the cloud, and key concepts that will be applicable across any service they end up using.

NHAZ900 – Microsoft Azure Fundamentals – 11 Hours- This course will provide foundational level knowledge of cloud services and how those services are provided with Microsoft Azure. The course can be taken as an optional first step in learning about cloud services and Microsoft Azure, before taking further Microsoft Azure or Microsoft cloud services courses.
