Statement of Institutional Commitments
In response to the August 2026 National Call to Action, Star V Learning Centers reaffirms its commitment to transparent, accountable, career-focused education that prepares students for meaningful employment and continued professional growth.
As a non-degree, workforce-focused institution, Star V Learning Centers does not conduct academic research or operate traditional university academic departments. Accordingly, some matters addressed in the National Call to Action are not directly applicable to our institutional model. The following commitments address the areas relevant to our mission, students, programs, and responsibilities as a Florida-licensed independent postsecondary institution.
Transparent and Merit-Based Admissions
Star V Learning Centers maintains published admissions requirements and provides prospective students with information regarding program requirements, costs, policies, and expectations prior to enrollment. Applicants are evaluated according to established admissions criteria applicable to their selected program. Admissions decisions are made without unlawful discrimination or preferential treatment based on protected characteristics.
Free Inquiry and a Professional Learning Environment
Star V Learning Centers supports an educational environment in which students may ask questions, exchange ideas, and engage with course material through respectful discussion and inquiry. Students, faculty, and staff are expected to maintain professional conduct and refrain from harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or disruption of the educational environment.
Intellectual Pluralism in Curriculum and Instructional Hiring
Our schools maintain a career-focused educational environment centered on technical competency, open inquiry, and preparation for the workplace. Curriculum and instructional materials are selected based on program objectives, industry standards, certification requirements, employer expectations, and workforce relevance.
Employees are selected and evaluated based on qualifications, relevant experience, professional competency, job performance, and their ability to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of their positions. Instructors are additionally expected to demonstrate subject-matter expertise and instructional effectiveness and to maintain a learning environment that encourages questions and respectful discussions.
Affordability, Transparency, and Measurable Outcomes
As demonstrated by the catalogs and foundations statements published on our website, our schools are committed to providing clear information regarding program costs, requirements, policies, and expected outcomes so prospective students can make informed educational decisions. The institution monitors
student achievement, including completion, industry certification, and employment outcomes as part of its ongoing evaluation of institutional effectiveness and student success.
Academic Rigor, Integrity, and Responsible Use of Technology
Students are expected to demonstrate competency through legitimate academic effort, participation, and assessment. Star V Learning Centers maintains standards for satisfactory academic progress and academic integrity and is committed to preserving meaningful assessment as technology evolves. Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies may be incorporated into education where appropriate, but their use must remain consistent with institutional requirements, academic integrity, and the objective of ensuring students develop and demonstrate the skills required by their programs.
